This is our Pastor Kevin Pridemore. The church sustained major hurricane damage when Hurricane Ian hit Sept.23, 2022. All the buildings including the church parsonage needed repair. Pastor Kevin and many others came to help rebuild.

Pastor Kevin Pridemore came to pastor the church in 2023. Kevin answered the call to preach in 2005. Kevin was already attending UCO And continued to complete his BA while also attending and graduating from HBBC with his BA in pastoral ministries. Pastor Kevin has pastored 3 churches and has been pastoring since 2010. Kevin met his wife Heather in a church plant in Miami, FL. They have been married for 23 years and have 5 children Jacob, Gabrial, Daniel(in Heaven) Jordan and Anna. Pastor Kevin is a Bible preacher and has a vision for rebuilding. Matthew 19:26 " But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

At FBC of Matlacha, we believe that our community is our strength. Missions Pastor Steve Ludwig goes into the prisons with other men in our church and leads Bible Study and discipleship. HE is currently developing an app to have continued contact through the week for the prisoners to stay encouraged in their life and daily walk.
